You’re invited! Join your fellow alumni for an AOL/SI All-Class Reunion on October 11, 2025, in Peoria, Illinois. This gathering is for alumni who graduated in the early years through the final graduating class of the 1988 school year. Those enrolled at the time of closing are also welcome. This reunion is a celebration of lifetime friendships, lessons learned, and the unforgettable experiences that shaped us during those years. Let’s take this opportunity to reconnect, reminisce, and honor the unique bond we share as AOL/SI alumni.

School Visits
Noon-2:00 PM
Plan to visit Alumni Hall at Peoria Notre Dame High School. This dedicated space features composite photographs of graduating classes dating back to 1895. You will see family, friends, and famous alums like Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen and Major League player and manager Joe Girardi.
At 1 p.m., the school will unveil the first and only national championship trophy earned by Spalding. Nearly a century ago, the 1924 boys basketball team made history by winning the very first National Catholic Interscholastic Basketball Tournament in Chicago. Now, after decades of being lost, the legendary trophy is returning to the spotlight.
2:00 – 4:00 PM
Visit your old stompin’ grounds as we gather on the lawn in between the two schools to reminisce and take photos on the front steps. The Spalding Pastoral Center is home of the Fulton Sheen Museum located at 419 NE Madison Street. The diocese has made special arrangements for the museum to be open for alumni from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. We won’t have access to the interior of the buildings, however, we will gather on the lawn!
Catholic Mass
4:00 PM
A special mass coordinated by your fellow alumni will be held at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception at 607 NE Madison Ave in Peoria.

Memories
Though the halls of the Academy and Spalding may no longer echo with the sounds of laughter and learning, the memories we created there remain vibrant and alive in each of us. Send your memories or photos to aolsi.peoriaalumni@gmail.com and we’ll share them on the website or at the reunion.
There will also be a memorabilia section on display at the reunion. Would you like to contribute an item? An old yearbook, a detention slip, or some photos? How about an old letterman jacket or a sports uniform? These items will be on display for all to view and enjoy. Please take your memorabilia home with you at the end of the evening, as the committee cannot be responsible for your items.
Donations
Do you know of a classmate who’d like to attend but needs assistance with transportation, financial payment, or handicapped accessibility? We’re accepting donations to provide assistance to those in need and to offset the costs of the reunion. Even if you can’t attend, you can make a donation via Paypal or Venmo, or contact a committee member at aolsi.peoriaalumni@gmail.com
Thanks for considering helping your fellow classmates.
